Again, blogging at such hour of the day. I guess my inspiration to blog only comes forth during odd hours heh.

You know how when you reach this age when everyone of your friends is either attached or getting married or etc etc and you find yourself at home during weekends with no where to go, no plans and itinerary cause everyone else is just busy with their own set of things! And then people around you starts throwing questions like "Why are you still single?"(of cos they wont ask this directly but the kind of questions they throw at you, you know indirectly that's what they meant). I cant deny that there are times the social pressure is getting on me. Really, it hits you at times you wish there is someone special right there. But really, I don't think it's right to find someone to be there just to ease the loneliness inside you or to jump at anyone that comes along. To me it will be just like a joyride.. Cause I know of people who jumped into a relationship too quickly and one of the party ended up cheating on the other. I am not saying that just because of one or two cases applies to all but really, as fast as it comes, as fast as it will go away. Don't jump into the bandwagon just because everyone else is doing so..

Here I am celebrating Single-hood! while I can =)

I've been craving for Starbucks for a while now.. and just for kicks I google for the recipes and taadaa!

Its just a half glass of nonfat milk. 3 spoon fulls of Chocolate syrup and 3 spoon fulls of chocolate chips. And don't forget to had a little vanilla and ice and then blend. There is no caffeine that's a Java Chip Frappuuccino.

Its 3am in the morning now and seriously at this hour I should be sleeping and yes I am terribly sleepy now. But no, I aint sleeping now cause I am having this sudden adrenaline rush to blog! At such odd hours :S

Here I am back to blogspot again, didnt have much enthusiasm to blog with xanga! Maybe I am just lazy = ) Pardon the bad grammar or speeeeling in this post if there is any, its 3 am in the morning anyway!

I think I am sick of pretending that everything is alright. In reality it isnt. I thought I was over it, it was the case until I saw the picture of you and her together..that makes my heart ache. and thats when I know things are not fine between us. or at least for me. I thought I've moved on, I thought everything was alright.

I remember you said "I'll do whatever it takes, To turn this around, I know what's at stake, I know that I've let you down, And if you give me a chance, Believe that I can change, I'll keep us together whatever it takes"

It hurts me to know that you move on so fast. That it only took months to replace what we used to have. Maybe just maybe its just me hanging on to something that doesnt work anymore.

I've been acting like everything is alright, that I've let go and moved on just so... I don't feel the pain.

Maybe just maybe acknowledging the pain is actually easier to take than pretending you're alright after all. I think I am giving up. It's time to move on really. and this time, its for real.

NAH UPDATE..

So..here's the super overdue post on my Bangkok trip hahahaha.

So the next morning right after my sis's wedding, I flew to Bangkok. This is the first time I am flying alone and it's so exciting! Only manage to get less than 4 hours of sleep the night before, I went to airport looking like a zombie with unwashed hair from the night before :S

The moment I reach the hotel, I hit the sack and sleep for good ol 2 hours! And then off I went high and low looking for a place to do my hair extension. Which I really glad I did cause I am really happy with it and that was the best thing ever this year!

Here's my er. breakfast! I read about how some people totally detest airline food but I beg to differ! I think one of the thing that I look forward the most is meal time! For this, I had Omelette with cheese and hot dog, bun, yogurt and fruits. healthy healthy.

My sim pack and instead of names like Digi or Maxis, this is Happy!

This is dinner! Omg so yummy can..its like kuey teow but with a taste of sourness which i really like!
The stall where I bought my dinner (i forgot wats the name already). This is just right outside my hotel. I stayed in Citin Pratunam and it is highly recommended! Price is reasonable, location is SUPER AWESOME, and the services is just top notch. The hotel is just 5-8 mins away from Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall so you dont have to worry bit about where to shop. Believe me, this place is heaven. I repeat, heaven. Bangkok is heaven and I swear I wanna go back there again.

This is outside of the MBK area where I get my hair extension done =)

Truth is, it takes time for a wound to heal, and it takes time for a new layer skin to build up again. However, as someone puts it, although it takes time, don't let time to do the job. You have to take the courage to regain the strength to start all over again.

I've finally signed up for twitter but i can honestly tell you that I have no idea how everything works. Still pretty confused with the whole function and bla bla bla.

I think I am travel deprived..I need something to look forward to! Every since I've started work I feel life has been pretty mundane. I need a new vision, new goals...anything! No wonder in the bible God says without vision man will perish. I need a new vision! My hand is now itching to go somewhere this sept/oct..probably Singapore or Penang during the weekend. I am serious. Provided there is cheap fare and that the swine flu thing is over. It's been getting so bad that schools are closing and that would means good news for all the students hahaha..er, i mean bad cause they cant attend classes and learn new things and see their friends and catch up with the studies (yea right).

HOLA! Havent been updating cause I just can't find time! Ever since I started working my time for leisure has minimised! Most of the time when I get home I just feel like lazing on my bed while watching the tv and then when the clock struck 10, I am feeling sleepy already!

Anyway, the other day when I was sorting out my clothes, i realise I have lotsa tank tops and when i did a rough count i have like 27 of racerback tank tops! with 3 i don't know where i put so I actually have 30 pieces of racerback tank tops! It really shows how much I love racerback tops huh...

One of the thing that I hate the most is when people push you away just so that they can cross over. I mean, why is it so hard for them to just say excuse me? Or just a gentle pat on the shoulder to signify that they wanna pass. Is it really that hard? Super upset can. Was pushed away by this particular woman not like theres a need for her to do that even. I actually have nothing specific to blog about today but i'm just killing timeee...

Oh Oh i have something to talk about. The other day my cousin was telling my sister the story of her friend which is super funny. Her guy fren was flying from destination X to Y and in the airplane he was chit chatting with this Arabian fella and he was siok bercerita this and then he mentioned about his love for Samurai swords and his wholesome collections of it. Then upon arrival he was being pull to a room then he was interogated for hours inside a room with all his belongings ie hp taken away. Then later only he found out someone in the plane overheard his conversation, freaked out and then report him as a suspected terrorist...hahahhaaa.

Lesson: don't simply say things in the airplane, you'll never know what will happen.

*I was just thinnkin if ever someone ever offend you or being rude to you in the airplane then u can report him as a suspected terrorist hahahaha.

I created a quiz couple of days back on how well do you know Hilda. So far the highest score is 88% Cynthea. Well done babe! The rest buck up k... *turns head* However none of them actually knew to the question of my secret dream when I become super rich one day..of cos the rest of the answers is true lar but one particular wish that i've been wanting to do is to hire a maid just for massage hahaha..nono i think i will have a spa in my house that is more correct. That would be total bliss can. DON LAFF i know it might sound stupid but it's my dream so i can have whatever i wan.

I know some of you are waiting for my Bangkok post and I havent got around to do it yet cause I am just too busy like seriously. I have a full time job now hence whenever i get home i just wanna bum around and er be lazy. But i promise I will do it this week?okayla see how *crosses finger*

So I am broke after the Bangkok trip and I am telling myself that I won't shop till January next year and I won't be travelling anywhere else till then. So Manila will be my next stop. Oh crap I just remembered I have another ticket to Penang this Dec. Okay scrap that. I WONT BE TRAVELLING ANYMORE! So from now onwards I will be good, work hard,earn money, stop shopping all the way till Jan next year. I think I should stop shopping lar, my closet is like bursting already. The other day I was arranging my clothes and I realise the amount of my clothes has doubled in just the period of 5 months. Still, Its crazy how sometimes you have a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear. Conclusion is, a girl can never have enough clothes. RIGHTT???? Retail Therapy is just amazinggg

Hola hola! I am back from my holiday! The holiday was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tho I was short of cash to shop tsk tsk..but I dont mind going back Thailand again! Since my Phuket trip was kinda spoil haihs... On the day I was supposed to fly to Phuket from Bangkok i fell sick. Not swine flu laaa...but i think it must be the sashimi I at Baiyoke that gave me food poisoning! ;( and then i spent 2 days in bed in the hotel out of the 3 days in Phuket. FML. sedih betull la..was so sick that i vomitted everything i ate sad thing was i had to cancel my Phi Phi island trip(paid for it dy somemore) and wasted my time there. OH WELL, at least Bangkok was fun...

Started my new job yesterday. I was feeling tired and sleepy the whole time and I was waiting for time to pass so I can quickly go home hahaha. Not because I am lazy lar okay but because I was dead tired. Hasn't get enough rest since the trip. I reached KL on sunday night and then had only few hours of sleep then rushed to the airport again back to KK then it was work again. CANT WAIT FOR WEEKEND~~~~~~~~

Sawadeeekaa everyone. Greetings from Bangkok.Before i say anything else i would like to say coming to bangkok alone is not the bad afterall and it is actually quite fun and much nicer actually cause i get to go where i want and do whatever i like. I am now blogging from Emporium Mall..long story of how i ended up here and blogging instead of shopping. Not in my itinerary at all to sit down here and online and damn expensive somemore. Sigh... but my bro in law wanted to come here and meet with his frens and i had to tag along. If i knew i would've chose to shop alone in Pratunam but ANYWAY, lets talk about other things.

My first day here was TIRED cause i only had like few hours of sleep and then i had to go to the airport already. Immediately when i reach the hotel i fainted and had few hours of sleep. My plan was to get my hair done at the er nearby saloon. I went to the nearby mall and I went from level 1-6 to look for a saloon and there is none. I literally walk the whole mall desperately looking for the saloon. Halfway through was thinking if i should just go ahead and shop instead but i was so adamant in getting my hair done i actually decided to take a cab to another mall instead. Reach MBK and i was so happy that i finally found hair saloons!!! Sadly the quotations i get for hair extensions is all so expensive like 700 bucks @.@ I was so sad whenn i hear that cause i think i spent 2 hours just scouting for a place to get hair extensions. Not even in the mood to shop at all in Bangkok can you believe it.

So at the end..i took the road less taken and went out of the mall to look for a saloon and i found one! Now i have long long hair ;)

GREETINGS from KL! Did you guys miss me???? Not like i've been away for so long anyway but just 2 days here i miss KK already. I know some of you might wanna slap me for being so dramatic but it really is hahahahhaa. I'm only here for 3 days and i tell you the schedule is crazy. I am so sorry i cant meet up with some of you as it really is hard. Had to accompany my parents to meet up the uncle aunties and then theres the pre-dinner before my sis wedding and etc. Cant believe the wedding is tomorrow already!!!

Yday i went to Ikea and i had the DAIM cake finallyyyy and it was awesome possum. I wish i can lug a dozen back. My skin isnt adjusting well to the air here ugggh..i am so paranoid okay i keep patting millions of stuff on my face its crazy. One thing i miss being here in kl is the ppl here all dresses up! its so nice you know eyeingn on what ppl wear and stuff the fashion here and all..ANYWAY gotta go! heading to Pavillion now bye bubs! Cynthea has lost a lot of weight and look she's glowing now!

I will be in KL in a week! So fast...honestly I am not excited AT ALL. Like seriously. Well one of the reason is because I know I will need to work the next day when I am back from the trip *cries.

Since my current haircut is wayyy too short now I am seriously considering of doing hair extension in Thailand cause i believe it is cheaper? *gives hopeful look. Problem is...I am not sure how to communicate with the hairstylist in Thai that is so i search online for a english to thai translation website hoping to find an answer. I key in "hair extension" and then click! translate.

Sigh..why lar I go and cut my hair....I am like burying myself in regrets now. So siok siok go and ask for a haircut and now my hair look like crap and its shorter! and sis's wedding is like in 2 weeks! AH! the horror omg omg omg..sad sad sad. My hair seriously look crappy now...the saddest part is that it's shorter omg. I was looking at the fashion magazine and all this models have super long and nice hair makes me feel even stupid for cutting it! Uggghh.. A new dawn..

I know...I havent been updating for a while now. Been busy going for interviews and meeting people around (walalala like my life very happening like that). But I think these 2 weeks has been pretty good to me. If you don't know, I've actually been quite depressed last few months ie constantly judging my own ability and think that I am not good enough and etc. Let me tell you it can be very depressing when every single one you meet ask you the same question over and over again, the same friend who MSN you will ask you the same question each time they message you. I know these people are just being concern but it is only when you are stuck in this situation then only you will understand the intense pressure surrrounding it.

But things is starting to look better now and I don't want to mention what it is yet...hehehe. Despite all the difficulties I am thankful for all those people around me for constantly giving me help instead of judging me and bombarding me with questions. I seriously <3 you alll.......

Time is moving fast and in less than 3 weeks I will be going to KL! Weeeeeeeee..........

Been delaying this post since forever I think i should post this up by now ;P I think this was around mid March and my soon to be brother in law was here in KK, hence we decided to bring him to the famous Tip of Borneo in Kudat. I've always love roadtrips so no way i'm gonna miss this one ;)

My uncle's house! This is the place where i spend most of my holidays when i was a kid..sure brings back a lot of memories.

It was around noon time when we reach Kudat so..the first thing we do was to eat! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in town. It's cheap, delicious and come in large portion!

And then we went to the pasar nearby cause the seafood in Kudat is just much cheaper and fresher ;)

Thats it about my road trip. Nothing much to blog about or maybe cause im lazy to talk about it. But I have something else to talk about..that I'm still upset about my hair! Haihs, i have never been so devastated about my hair before cause I know it will grow. But my sis's wedding is in like 2 weeks and it kills me each time when i read the magazine and saw pictures of the models with long hair..I WAN HAIR LIKE THAT! Haihs haihs..i know most of you are sick of me going on about this but I still cant get over it yet. Vanity oh vanity.

The reason why the title for this post is bittersweet is because good things has been happening to me lately but at the same time bad things as well! Like my hair is ugly now and yesterday when I was in One Borneo shopping I accidentally trip over some carpet and fell down! I scraped my knees and now it's bruised >.<>.<

Okay since a lot of people has been fussing me to show them my new hair i will..

Rubbish you don't wanna read

I cannot sleep! Not that i am having insomnia but because I just ate roti like 5 mins ago & if I sleep now then the food won't be able to be digested properly and in return I will be fat! Okay I know I am being too conscious about it but seriously my appetite has been crazzy lately like I would eat every 2 hours! And just now while I was watching my fav 11pm show my mind was battling IF i should have the Damai bread while watching the show. For half an hour okay my mind was battling like it was between a life and death issue. Then I thought my appetite has really gone mad cause weeks before this I would exercise while watching the show! And NOW, I would snack and laze on the bed while watching TV instead!

So, I came with a conclusion...I should exercise first half of the show and perhaps after that my appetite will be gone. Sure enough, halfway through I don't have my cravings already! *clap clap I am so proud of myself =) Sad thing is.. it only last for 5 minutes until that KFC advertisement came up! *then the mind battles again....

At the end I conclude that I should layan my cravings and eat!From 2 slices to 1 slice so I guess it's not so bad after all. I super fail in self control horr...woe is me.

And then someone spoil it and say I got it cause I look like a kid thats why he gave it to me. Cheh, jealous.

Got free valet parking somemore where else can get? Moments like this I thank God I am born a female cause I get to enjoy perks like this..

So of course we gave our support and they did very well and at the end of the show when Joanna was walking down from the stage I thought she looked so graceful and thin! I hope my plan for Bangkok & Phuket wont crash and burn next month else I will declare a state of emergency in my own life instead pfft. Still wondering what to do if all doesnt goes well. If the plan really has to be cancel then i think i will stay a week in KL instead since i have another tix (thats provided got people to layan me else i will die of boredom) or maybe i could just take a trip down to Singapore? So bored! Nothing much to look forward to except that I am going to jog later at 4.30! I think the only thing that makes me feel alive at the moment is working out. I've managed to lose 2kg in 2 weeks but i've been eating wayyy too much lately since the karambunai trip. Imaggine me having buffet breakfastt and then buffet lunch again...this is not a good sign :S

I have exact one month's time to look good and work on my arms, thigh and flat stomach before my sister's wedding cause I'll be the maid of honor! Hence I have been diligently going for jogs which I think many of you guys are shock by my level of commitment to it cause before this exercise is the last thing I would do. It would take as much energy to move an elephant in order to make me exercise. So I guess this is a good change! finally I can mark an x on my new year resolution list after so many years.

Been playing this song on loop for few days now (Angels on the moon - Thriving Ivory). Go listen if you haven't cause it's just sooo good.

I've been craving for ice cream since yesterday! Okay I am so gonna go McD later after jog..aihs, how to lose weight like that. Nevermind lar I shall run 8 rounds today instead of the usual 4-6 and I guess i deserve a little reward right. Since I can't have my cravings now just yet i shall tempt you with all these yummy pictures too so you will be hungry just like me and then put on some weight so at least I am not alone in the same dilemma..lol.

I suddenly have this longing to re-visit Hong Kong...yes! even more than I wanna go Bangkok. Alfred and Hannah will be going there end of this month and I am so jealous! Hong Kong is one of those place where it makes you wanna go back there over and over again. Can't explain the feeling, maybe it's the whole "I grow up watching hong kong drama thing" that makes that place easier to relate to. HK is a city that never sleeps. You can go down to the streets at 1pm and it is still alive...Sigh.. I wanna go back there again! Now who's with me? hehehehe...

Okay gotta go now, am heading to Karambunai now then gonna hit the gym tomorrow and then we're gonna go cycling woohoo!! One of my favourite things in life. Catch u guys again soon. Mwahs!

P/s: The interview was great today and I hope I fit the bill. The company is an events organising company that organises event of course for companies like Digi,Maxis,Petronas and etc. I really hope i get it *crosses finger.

Finally I am able to go online in the comfort of my bedroom ;) All these while I had to share the computer upstairs with my family in this house and we had to take turns. Anywaayyy i am starting to love staying in this room now with the bigass tv biggass closet and now being able to online again here. Simple things like this makes me really really happy ;)

I will be flying again next month to KL for my sister wedding then to bangkok n phuket right after. It's a mixed up feeling that I am feeling right now...excited and yet gloomy. I bought the ticket last dec and it only cost RM150 to bangkok aint that awesome? yes yes...think about the shopping and the food there already make me go goo goo gaa gaa..Unfortunately, my cash has been drying up...more like dried up to be exact. I kinda went over board when i went shoppin in Jakarta in February.Sigh... To put myself in the best shopping location but yet no money is not exactly the best idea.

anyhoooooo...I am going for a walk in interview tomorrow for the post event coordinator. Am looking forward to it so wish me luck!

we decided to go KFC! KFC in indo is prettier tho, they have sorta like a lounge area for you to sit. I loike!

See even the plate is nicer! The chicken is also less oily compared to the ones in Msia where I had to use countless tissues to blot out all the oils. And best of all, they have my favourite apple tea!

Senayan City is a mall a class above Taman Anggrek. This is a place where you'll most probably be able to spot socialites or even artists shop. To me this is equilvalent to Pavillion in KL with shops like Zara, Topshop, Miss selfridge and etc. Nothing very special about this place tho except it has the famous high heel escalator.

CROCS! Silvia wanted to get the purple one but they only have it in limited outlets boohoo..so she tried on the red and the bronze one just for kicks.

Silvia was busy talking on the phone so i began snapping every little random stuff.

Was bored and hungry so we went to Wendy's and have some frosty!

Spring cleaning!

I've moved! From the attic to my sister's room now cause she's er moving to KL. So I am taking over her room! It was not an easy task as I am moving into a room filled with junks. So it is taking me some time to actually arrange her things and then move some upstairs. 90% of her stuff is still in the room hence the moving is taking the whole week! It was a mess i tell you..

Part of the whole moving her things out and moving my things in chaos scene.

My massive clothes that i need to arrange back to the closet.

One of the perks of moving in to the room is now I have a bigass tv in ma room. Yay! Now you girls can come crash over my place and watch dvd's while sipping smirnoff nyehehehe.

Taman Anggrek, translated to "Orchid Garden Mall" in English is the one of the largest upscale shopping mall and condominium in Southeast Asia. I was quite impressed with how pretty the mall was but Silvia told me this is consider the 3rd level of shopping mall wait till I visit the other more glam malls @.@. Day 4 of Jakarta

Seems like my Jakarta post takes forever to finish and I still have tons of pictures i havent blog about :/ Anyway, so on day 4 it is called the chillaxing day where both Silvia and I do not have an agenda and enjoy our life like the rich tai tais.

This is me getting my creme bath at the salon. Creme bath is when they give you hair treatment and then massage you from head to your shoulders for about an hour. Feels super good okay and the best part it is only what RM20? So cheap can diee..

I also did the manicure which only cost RM10..i repeat...10 bucks which is so awesome. So yeah, other than Dvd's manicure and hair treatment in Indonesia is darn cheap. However, I am not saying every salon is this cheap. The one that I went is near the housing area so that's why it is cheaper ;)

After the spa we went over to her aunt's house and guess what Silvia found.

Day 3 of Jakarta

Today we're going to....Bandung!

Bandung is about 2 hours from Jakarta if you're travelling by car. It is also the heaven for factory outlets in this town and lots of yummy snack too. The road going to Bandung is beautiful as you'll see little mountains and blue skies. Silly me never manage to take any pictures of the view cause i thought it would look the same in Bandung but when I reach, it is a town very similar to Jakarta in certain ways. Going to Bandung on the weekdays is a better choice cause during the weekends it will be jam packed. Bandung is like a weekend getaway for people living in the city Jakarta, in other words Bandung is like Genting in Malaysia only they dont have casino.

Yay! We're here ;)

Our first stop was Paris Von Java, it is a new mall very similar to The Curve. I've been hearing the rave on people's blog on how good it was but it was a little dissapointing for me actually. This is a sorta posh mall not very big with lots of bistro, cafe and beautiful restaurant. The place is very nice actually but don't expect to shop here cause you can get way cheaper clothes elsewhere and there have very limited shops. But, if you're looking for a nice place to chill and relax then this is the place for you. I would recommend you to come over here at night though cause the atmosphere would be wayyy better.

Now let's talk about lunch.

This is the place where we dine - Katja Piring. It's a place that serves nyonya cuisine with very pretty interior.
For drinks I had buah kedondong(not sure if it was the right spelling). Initially I only wanted to take pictures of the drink then one of Silvia's aunt was saying it would look better if there is a real 'buah' together with it. 2 seconds later she ask the waitress to bring along the real fruit and to my surprise they said sure and even purposely decorate the fruit and put it on a plate. I was so paiseh..

This is gado gado..very similar to our local rojak.

And then we proceeded to check out the shops...

Then we met up with Mr. Thursday who is from here so he could show us around town.
Mr Thursday: Where do you guys wanna go?
Me : A place I can shop like mad and go crazy.
Mr T: Okay, there's two type; do you prefer factory outlets where every tourist go OR do you wanna visit the local designers where the locals go.
Me: Okay cool, i'll go with local designers.

So he brought us to a street with local designers shops. All of it is pretty unique and some of the shops is really cute.

Moving to the next destination ; Prima Rasa! Prima Rasa is a shop popular for selling the yummy brownies and lots of snacks, keropok and all sorts.

Silvia and I saw these very cute rings with our horoscope on it and then decided to buy it and then call it our friendship ring or something like that. I think we will never grow up :/
Gladiators rule!

Another famous food in Bandung is Batagor. Its like fried beef balls/tauhu/etc. They say that there's a story on Batagor of how people used to be so poor so one of the ways they could preserve the food to last longer is by frying it. That's what Enrico told me not even sure if it's true lol.

Due to time limitations I only manage to shop at one factory outlet :( So the one and only factory outlet I went is called Rumah Mode. It's one of the famous one of the whole lot and it is pretty good ;) I managed to get a top from Guess for only RM30 whahahahahaha *satisfaction.

For dinner, we went halfway to the puncak(peak) to eat at this famous place called Kampung Daun. Bandung have a lot of pretty restaurants up hill with nice atmosphere similar to lookuppoint in kl. The restaurant we went Kampung Daun is really pretty but due to my camera limitations I didnt manage to take good pictures of the place and plus it was raining that time.

Some hot dessert which looks good but it isn't. None of us finish the bowl.

Overall the ambience at this place is awesome but the food is just alright, nothing to be brag about. They said it used to be better but over time I guess the quality just dropped. All in all this place is not too bad. After dinner we also went up to the peak which is like 10 minutes away and the view is absolutely breathtaking! The puncak is the place where you'll be able to see the whole night view of Bandung and if you're there make sure you drop by and there'll be no regrets!

Day 2 of Jakarta

So let's move on to Day 2 which is more like day 1 to me since I didn't do much yesterday. So before I fly to Jakarta I told Silvia there's only two places(Mangdu & Bandung) I wanna visit when I am there and with that I am more than happy already. Reason being I just want to have a relax trip and not the fast and furious kind of trip. So, today we're going to Mangga Dua or the locals call it Mangdu! But before that let me show you what I had for brunch!

Let's move on...

If you LOVE <3> shopping and lurveee bargains then this place is a must visit. Mangdy is like the Indonesia Sungei Wang except over here there's more shops, more options and wayyy nicer and prettier clothes. Prices for the clothes is reasonable although I wouldn't say it's super cheap as compared to what you can get in Bangkok but I felt it's pretty good deal for me. If I am nice enough I will do a post on all my purchases from Jakarta, comment if you guys wanna see it. Let me know! ;)

The ground floor mostly sells imitation handbags, the floors going up is all clothes with a mixture of shoes. My fav is the 4th and 5th floors.

Another awesome thing about Indonesia is that the DVD's is superrrr cheap. Around 5,000 Rupiah per piece which is.....only RM1.50! I felt it's such a rip off when they're actually selling it at Rm10 per piece here. You know what's the best part? It's buy 10 free 1 @.@
I went mad and bought 65 pieces

After that we had baso goreng!!!!! So niceeeee.......aihs I am craving for one while writing this right now.

Okay, shopping done for the day =) One thing nice about the shops here is that most shops here will pack your clothes and put it into very nice paper bags unlike most shops in sungai wang just put it into very ugly plastic bags so unglam :/

When I reach Jakarta Digi sent me a sms as below.

only RM0.99?? they make it sound like a bargain lol @.@
So if you're in Indonesia next time I suggest you get a sim card. Why? Cause its super cheap can die. It will only cost you around RM8 with Rp25,000 credit inside. I've sent out so many sms-es the credit also cannot finish. Definitely save me a lot of money as compared to the roaming with Digi.

So if you're wondering the currency for Indonesia here it is

Rp10,000 = Rm3.2

Jakarta Day 1

So here's the long awaited post about Jakarta. Honestly, I don't think i've took a lot of pictures this trip reasons being
1. Too caught up with shopping
2. Too lazy

To start off with, this trip to Jakarta is totally unplanned and very spontaneous. I didn't expect much in the beginning as my first intention is just to spend some time with Silvia and do 'some' shopping and most importantly is to eat as much as Indo food I can. I was seriously craving for Indonesian food as KK doesnt have any! I used to have a lot of Indo food when I was in KL cause it is so good...

24th February 2009 - Day 1

Flight at 9.35pm, check in at 7.40pm. One thing I hate about flying so much is the need to check in early! Was so dead bored waiting to board as I am flying alone this time. Played tetris on my phone all the way to kill time and thank God for.....Ipod.

I reached Jakarta around 11pm(their time). Indonesia is an hour behind us and the flight from KK to Jakarta takes about 2 hours and 40 mins which is pretty much the same like flight to KL.

Here's my very hodoh face up in the plane so very bored and ended up snapping stupid pictures in the loo.

Lookee..first thing I notice was this sign. Toilet in Indo is called kamar kecil(small room lol)..so cute. Took this while waiting for Silvia while she was in the loo. Before she went in she was like "wait for me here okay, and don't talk to strangers!"

A lot of people have the thought that Indonesia is a very dangerous country (at least most people I know thinks so) after what happen during the '97 but fret not its not as bad as it seems. Surprisingly I still feel as if i haven't left Malaysia when I'm in Indo.

Nicholas is my 8 month old nephew. When he was still in his mummy's tummy the doctor did a scan and told them that it could be a baby girl but there's a possibility that it could be a boy as well :S

Anyhow, I kept hoping that it is a girl cause having a girl is so much fun! You could dress her up, tie her hair and do lots of girly stuff with her =) A month before the baby is due I asked mom if my brother thought of a name for the baby already and they said not yet why not I think of one? And there goes my creative ideas keep popping out so many names to give the baby how? Some of it were Kayleigh for baby girl and Lucas for baby boy(blame OTH for the name Lucas!) When I told Jer his immediate reaaction was like what? Lucas? Me, why what's wrong? Jer then replied, err..nolar just that Klo's dad name Lucas when you mention Lucas it's more like an uncle name lol =.=''''

The funniest one was my conversation with Sing Yee on what to name the baby and then she replied "Name him David Cook!!!!!" (that time she was in the 'David Cook' season craze) I was like astaga how God bless your children and their names cause you just can't name a child after a famous singer cause that would be like so weird~ Just then i remembered once i asked my friend Tommy why his parents name him Tommy and his reply was because his parents liked Tommy Page so much! =.=''''

Well back to the story, so last June the baby was born and his name is not Lucas but Nicholas. I didn't ask the reason why his parents chose this name but I am glad it was Nicholas and not Edison.

Guess who's going to Jakarta?

A week ago I chatted with Silvia and then I realise that it's really been so long since we spoke to each other since we graduated. We used to hang out a lot during uni times and she is one of the kind of girl you will get along really fast and she is very fun too! Ahh..i miss her...

She then suggested that I should go visit her in Jakarta while she is still free to bring me around town. At first I just didn't think that would happen considering the price of the ticket might cost me a bomb and there might not be a direct flight to Jakarta to KK. Anyhow.....out of curiousity I just decided to click the URL of Air Asia and randomly pick a date and see how much it would cost me...and then...

Guess what? They actually have direct flight to Jakarta and it's only RM383 for two ways! and I am flying end of this month~ WOohOoo... this must be the most exciting trip ever.. normally I would plan at least 3-4 months before flying to anywhere for holidays. Now for this, is less than a month. I am anticipating for the adventure.

Warning : Bimbo post ahead

Had an eventful weekend just relaxing at home yesterday and then went dinner with Racheal, Joanna, Charissa,Derek, Rouselle & Danny. It wasn't in the plan initially but Charissa texted us all the night before saying that she has extra tickets for a table for the Hakka organisation dinner and off we went ;) It was a pretty interesting event lol ;) *Joanna & Rach: you all know what i'm talking about right hahahaha*

After dinner, Racheal, Joanna & I went to meet up with Hannah & Sing Yee at Tg. Aru as we've wanting to hang out at the beach. We ended up taking a lot of pictures at the beach, mostly silly pictures consists of us jumping, turning, doing splits and etc. Was slightly annoyed/scared halfway as there's the bunch of mat rempits nearby. But thank God they went away after that. I remembered Adam told before about his encountered at Tg Lipat with some pilaks few weeks ago. He and his friends were walking along the beach side and suddenly there's this 2 guys went over to the 5 of them and start punching his friends for no reasons. Then he realises they were high on drugs @.@ scary...

Jennifer Chung has just release her EP! *jumping up and down* Now I am just figuring out how to get my hands on it ;) If you have no idea who she is check out the video above already! Her songs are awesome and plus she write her own songs which I really admire for one.

CNY has been pretty quiet this year but it well spent with my darlings and all of us had a great time together. We spent a great amount of time together this week as by the end of this week all of us are gonna resume our lives back to normal - work work work and work harder than ever before which means lesser time together.

I am so excited for tomorrow's get together! It's been almost half year since everyone gather together. Most of the time we'll just gather at someone's house or go somewhere nice for dinner. So this year I wanted to make it a special and memorable one and not just some meet ups over a meal and la dee da go home cause after a while its just boring!

Hence, I am organising the meet up this time and called it a "White Affair" reunion. The dress code is white and we're gonna have candlelight dinner outside my house. I know! what's so special about having it at my house right? Why not have it at a restaurant or something. Well the reason why is that I feel sometimes it's hard to move around in a restaurant and plus it's easier to mingle around at some place we're comfortable at, somewhere we don't have to control our level of noise. Especially when sometimes we can get really really loud! Other than that, I have personalise this meet ups with gifts specially prepared for each of them and some other surprises too! Can't reveal too much here now. Will blog about it after tomorrow! I'll just leave you with pictures from yester years! mwah!

Adding friends in facebook

Most of the time, I only add people whom I know in facebook. So today when I check my friend request, someone call Nerdfreak Lomantik added me and when i check his network it was Uzbekistan. My reaction was like @.@.

How did a guy from Uzbekistan found my profile and is now adding me? Okayla nevermind, go check his picture maybe I know who.*Looks at picture* =.=''' Its a fish pula. Now a fish name Nerdfreak from Uzbekistan is adding me?

Then I remembered the name Lomantik, sounds very familliar to me and went ahead and confirm his request(I can always delete him anyway hahahahaha). Then I found out... si Klo pula....astagaa... >.<

I love weekends! Cause that is when my gurlfrens and family are free to layan me and bring me out go shopping and yamcha till wee hours in the morning. However, weekends always seems so short!
